It’s simple – sure. But ‘simple’ does not mean ‘easy.’

Problem is: we’re human. Which means we have those messy things that therapists refer to as ‘e-motions’ (am I pronouncing it correctly?).

That means we often want to do the opposite of the ‘smart thing’ – selling into fear and holding amidst greed.

We personally see the ‘f*ck it, I’m out!’ switch get flipped every time there’s a pullback – it’s marked by a massive spike in unsubs across this-here newsletter and Milk Road PRO.

$BTC HASHRATES HIT ALL-TIME HIGHS 📈

If you hear the words ‘Bitcoin hashrate’ and think:

• What is that?

• Why should I care?

You’re not alone. Much like my parents sex life, recommended serving sizes, and the actual chances of winning it big on a scratch off – when I hear ‘Bitcoin hashrate,’ I think:

I don’t need to know about that.

But that changed this morning. 

See – ‘Bitcoin hashrate’ is just a fancy term for ‘the amount of computers plugged into the Bitcoin network.’

More computers trying to mine Bitcoin (aka: process Bitcoin transactions and earn $BTC in return) = increased hashrate.

And right now, hashrate is at an all-time high. 👇

Now – lemme walk through the line of reasoning that made me start caring about hashrates:

More miners on the network = more competition = higher costs to mine…

Higher costs to mine means there should be less people entering the mining space, but we're seeing the opposite – hashrate is increasing.

This can mean one of two things: 

• People just love mining (unlikely) 

• People are expecting Bitcoin's price to rise

(Boom, just like that – you care about hashrates.)
