Remember last week when we covered the importance of revenue as a metric?

TL;DR: revenue is hard to fake → follow apps with growing revenue → find winners.

Ok, neat! But there are a bunch of apps that are growing revenue…

How do we rank them amongst each other and pick which (if any) deserve our research/attention?

One trick is to look at who’s growing their revenue the fastest, then get to digging.

For example – say you take a look over the ‘Top 10 Fastest Growing Apps of All-Time’ chart to see if there are any new names jumping out at you…

And say you find yourself asking questions, like… 

• What the hell is Axiom?

• How did it just flip Pump(Dot)Fun to become the 3rd fastest growing app of all-time? 

• And why haven’t I heard about it?

So you do some research and find out that… 

Axiom is a Solana-based trading platform that’s trying to make memecoin trading faster/easier – with built-in wallet tracking (so you can track what whales are buying) and Twitter sentiment analysis.

(Great feature set + booming sector = revenue go up.)

But sadly…

Axiom doesn’t have a token, so investing in the project isn’t an option.

That said…

Axiom is a strong candidate for a potential 2025 token launch, which means making some Solana-based trades on Axiom to try and qualify for a potential future airdrop might not hurt.

But check out this chart…

Yuh. Roughly 20-30% of those same memecoin holders purchased memecoins before anything else!

Translation: for a significant portion of users, memecoins were their gateway drug into crypto.

The takeaway? It may feel a little tacky/off-putting – but the memecoin sector serves a purpose.

And that purpose is (apparently) to onboard a good chunk of new users.
