WELCOME TO THE MANIA PHASE (FIRST STOP, MEDIA ATTENTION) šµāš«
Thereās different levels of news.
Or better yet ā different pockets of news.
Hereās what we mean by that:
Thereās the news that you and your friends mostly talk/know about (e.g. Crypto)
The news that people under 40 mostly talk/know about (e.g. Diddy)
The news that people above, say, 18 mostly talk/know about (e.g. US Elections)
The news that the entire world talks/knows about (e.g. COVID)
These pockets can overlap (just ācause your over 40 doesnāt mean you might not have heard of the Diddy scandal) ā but they generally spread further within particular circles/algorithms.
And once every four years or so, over the course of a 6-12 month period, crypto makes the jump from:
āNews that you (a crypto nerd) and your friends (also crypto nerds) mostly talk/know about.ā
To
āThe news that people above, say, 18 mostly talk/know about.ā
And it all starts when we reach the first stop in the āMania Phaseā of the bull run: Media Attention (a time in which mainstream media starts yappinā about crypto). š
We believe weāve just entered the Media Attention phase of the current bull cycle.
The catalyst? Bitcoin hitting $100k. Hereāre a few examples of the growing mainstream media attentionā¦
1/ The Financial Times just issued an apology to crypto holders
Seriously. After Bitcoin hit $100k, we got this:
A little tongue in cheek? Sure. But the change of tune was backed up (at least for now) by their recent choice to educate their readers on ā wait for it ā memecoins.
2/ The BBC talks $BTC
āCarol Alexander, professor of finance at Sussex University, told BBC News that fear of missing out (FOMO) among younger people will see Bitcoin's price continue to rise.ā
3/ Bitcoin is on the front page of nbcnews.com
āFinancial advisers are hearing more interest in digital currenciesā
Is plotting each step of the marketās phases a perfect science? Absolutely not.
(These are just three examples, nothing is concrete just yet. That saidā¦)
A few more texts from people we havenāt heard from in years asking for advice on crypto, and we think weāll be ready to officially confirm it.

Still not convinced weāre in the āMania Phaseā of the bull run after reading our first article?
Ok, make sure your hands are free, ācause weāre going to need you to hold our beer in a secondā¦
Last week alone, digital asset investment products took inā¦
* checks notesā¦does a double takeā¦mutters āsurely that canāt be accurateā *
3.85 billion dollars of investment.
(Thatās more ridiculous than our intern, Raulās decision to allocate 100% of his portfolio to memecoins).
In total, Bitcoin drew in ~$2.5B, while Ethereum took in a record ~$1.2B!
To add further weight to those figures: a good chunk of these flows found their way to the Bitcoin ETFs, helping to push their total holdings above 1.1M Bitcoin, flipping Satoshiās known holdings as of last Friday. š

THE RISE OF THE DIGITAL DEGEN (AI AGENTS š¤ CRYPTO)
Boy, were the Terminator movies wrong!
We were told AI was going to rise up and go to war with humanityā¦ Turns out itās just breeding digital degens.
(Seriously - forget memecoins, the future of degeneracy lies in intelligent agents).
In today's episode of The Milk Road Show, we're exploring the AI agent meta with Piers Kicks from Delphi Ventures, examining how these autonomous bots are shaking up the crypto world.
