6 NATION STATES ARE NOW CONSIDERING BUYING $BTC

There’s a good chance you’re going to start seeing more and more focus on stories like this:

…but why is everyone so excited about a smaller nation adopting Bitcoin?

Sure, it’s cool that the Czech Republic is considering this – but it ain’t a financial big-dog like the United States…

(And a few billion dollars of investment isn’t necessarily a long term needle mover for a two trillion dollar asset like $BTC).

Lemme answer your question with an analogy from an early YouTube classic…

Remember that video of the dude dancing like a goofball alone on a hill at the 2009 Sasquatch Festival?

1/ At first, everyone is either ignoring him, or laughing at him…

2/ But then a brave soul joins him in solidarity…

3/ And, oh! What’s this? A few more people are starting to join…

4/ Now that the early majority have been rewarded for taking the risk, others flock…

5/ Until there’s an almost panicked rush to join the party!

That’s game theory baby!

Every new country that considers adding Bitcoin to its balance sheet is like a half-drunk twenty-something year old joining the proverbial dance party on the hill!

And once the trend gains momentum, it becomes very hard to stop.

Right now, the Czech Republic, Russia, Brazil, Germany, Hong Kong, the US federal government, and multiple US state governments (👇) all have Bitcoin Strategic Reserve proposals being floated in some way, shape, or form…

And each of these initiatives doesn’t need to be as bold as the Czech Republic’s 5% proposal to add real momentum to the adoption frenzy! They all add inertia.

For context: major global central banks collectively own ~27.7T worth of assets, which means a 2% allocation would equal ~$500B worth of buy pressure.

And right now, there’s only 2.17M Bitcoin (~$217B) available for trade across the top 20 centralized exchanges…

Which means demand of this size, even spread out over time, could lead to the mother of all supply shocks (and supply shocks = number go up)!

And that – right there 👆 – is why everyone is so excited about even smaller nation states, like Czech Republic, adopting Bitcoin.

IS ELON MUSK ABOUT TO NUKE THE WORLD’S LARGEST DEPIN PROJECT? 😰

We love Helium. 

And why wouldn’t we? 

It’s a decentralized mobile data network that onboards everyday people into web3 without them even knowing it.

And right now, that daily active data usage from unknowing everyday people is at all-time highs:

See, when iOS 18.3 dropped a few days back, it came with a sneaky little add-on for T-Mobile users. 👇

It’s text only right now, and requires set up – but in the future, T-Mobile and Starlink plan to add voice and data to the service.

…which means all of the holes Helium is currently patching in T-Mobile’s data network could soon be covered by Starlink. 

(A company that is already providing satellite internet coverage across 120 countries – meaning they can scale much faster and wider than Helium).

Here’s hoping that we as consumers continue to generate enough demand for both companies to have a seat at the data coverage table. 🤞
